2014 Campaign Trail

Many of you in town recently received a four-page glossy brochure containing allegations about my voting record that are based on deliberately misleading and inaccurate interpretations of votes that I took in the House during the last session. I want to take a moment to look at who is spending all this money and its effect on our body politic.

The group calls itself the "Mass Fiscal Alliance." They bill themselves as a "non-partisan," "right of center" organization. The fact is that the management and leadership of the group are overwhelmingly Tea Party Republicans and the only elected officials who score well on its official website "Scorecard" are - you guessed it - members of their own party.
